The 2021 Workplace

As we enter the New Year we sit at the crest of the wave of change. We’ve done the hard paddle facing our challenges and we’ve learned priceless lessons on just how we can work, and work well. We’ve come to a place where we can, from our new perspective, see land ahead but we still have to come down the other side of the wave of lesson implementation to realize the optimized vision of our future business realities. There will be an energized approach to reinventing the office space to capitalize on the natural shift to a highbred home and in-office workday experience. This leaves us with yet another opportunity for growth in how we work collaboratively and more dynamically engage our employees.

The Deloitte 2020 Global Human Capital Trends report paints a picture of the paradox we currently face within our human individuality living and relying on a technology-driven world. Their chart, below, shows how we’ve been impacted on every front in the last year which has sparked exponential growth on so many platforms. Here, again, these insights give us a foreshadowing of how our workplace environments will also evolve.
